Deontay Wilder Vs. Tyson Fury - LIVE Results: Controversial

According to figures obtained by ESPN, November 23rd’s WBC heavyweight title rematch between Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz pulled in a live gate of $4,063,141.50 from 7,403 tickets sold, with an additional 1,726 complimentary tickets being handed out.
The pay-per-view show, which was distributed by PBC on FOX, did not have any official numbers released by those companies, but Dan Rafael cites an industry source who says the fight did about 225,000 buys.
In that fight Wilder took on Ortiz for the second time following his early 2018 knockout win over the Cuban fighter. In this outing Ortiz acquitted himself very well, but was brutalized by a crushing right hand from Wilder in the seventh round that abruptly ended Ortiz’s night.
With the win Wilder is now scheduled to take on Tyson Fury in another rematch on February 22, with Top Rank promoter Bob Arum publicly declaring he thinks that fight can do over two million buys. Good luck with that...
